“He that covereth his sins shall not proper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13.
Beloved, the God of the heavens and the earth loves man and it is not His desire for any to perish. The devil doesn’t want you to accept God’s mercy. He would like you to think that sin will always have dominion over you and you will never be free from it. The devil is a liar, and father of liars. The truth is that sin calls for the compassion of God, and deliverance and redemption through Jesus Christ. God’s mercy is not an excuse to sin, as some misinterprets grace. Rather it is an assurance that we do not have to be entrapped by sin.
The cry of God’s heart is for us to run from all sin and come to him. He offers us a place of rest, continually urging us to leave sin. In the book of Matthew 11:28, Jesus said, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Sin will stop the mercy of God from fully manifesting in your life. God as a matter of fact has met all our needs in Christ Jesus through the realm of His mercy and love. God wants you to walk by faith; Romans 4:16 says, “Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace.”
Beloved, God in His mercy and compassion wants to see you blessed with all the heavenly blessings He has for you in Christ Jesus. He wants His mercy to come in and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. By mercy and truth, the bible says, iniquity is purged (Proverbs 16:6). The Word of God is Truth so by mercy and the Word, iniquity is purged. So when mercy is in place and the Word of Truth is in place, addictions, sexual sins, and all unrighteousness are removed permanently. Confess your sins and forsake them today so you will receive mercy for a change of life.
Delivered from spiritual attack
I was attacked when I traveled to village such that I couldn’t move my body. When I came back to Owerri, I managed to attend a service in church. I got the oil of gladness and began applying it from that day. To the glory of God, I can now move my body without pains. The following week, I went back to work. Praise God
