“Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2 Timothy 2:3
Beloved, today I encourage you not to give up too soon. Many believers have quitted too soon and have lost their testimonies. Amazing Testimonies are for those who endure till the end, people who wait patiently for their promise to come to pass just like Abraham did. Abraham hoped against all hope. Even when it looked like it was over with him and there was no need to hang on, he kept on hoping on the Lord. When the time came, He has his amazing testimony; Isaac. Beloved, is there a dream or vision that you have given up on? You felt it was a pipe dream and can never come to pass? I need you to cast that thought out of your heart. It can happen for you. Go and dust up your dreams for I hear God say that in no distant time, all those long forgotten dreams and ideas of yours, He shall bring them to pass suddenly. Hallelujah!
Our opening scripture exhorts us to endure tough situation, and this is so fitting because it will help us to stay on course until we receive our testimonies at last. The reason why most people fail in life is that they give up too soon. They haven’t learnt to be tenacious or resilient enough for their season to break forth. Do you recall the story of the importunate widow in Luke 18? That woman was unrelenting and she kept on asking the judge for help until he caved in. Beloved, you have to learn to keep at it until the situation turns around in your favour. Job said, “…after He has tried me through the furnace of affliction, I shall come forth as gold…” (Job 23:10). As a good soldier of Christ, you must learn to persevere in faith during trying times. Verily, your faith shall be tried after which you shall stand victorious, if you don’t faint.
Beloved, do you believe that the Lord will do something for you? It may not always happen in a hurry because a lot transpires in the spirit realm before our requests become tangible in the physical realm. However, one thing is sure; that God has already done it for you. Hold on; don’t ever let go. Delay is never denial. Remember Daniel’s answer was delayed even after it was received immediately he prayed. It eventually got to him because he refused to quit praying. Don’t quit; don’t stop expecting your testimony; it shall come if you faint not.

Healed of body pains
I have been seriously ill since February. I had pains all over my body and my chest felt as though it wanted to close. During a service, daddy called for those who were sick to come to the altar. I came out and he prayed for us. I began receiving strength from that day, and today, I am hale and hearty. Thank you Jesus.
