“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

Beloved, you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loved you and gave His life for you. When Jesus went to the cross, He conquered the enemy. When you give your life to Jesus and make Him Your Lord and personal savior, you become identified with Him in His crucifixion, death, burial, and when He arose, you were justified. In the same vein, you were with him in that victory over the enemy. This means that the victory Jesus had over the enemy belongs to all of us who are saved. Halleluiah!

The book of Colossian 2:15 says, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” This shows us how victorious Jesus was over the enemy. Some other scriptures also show us how we are identified with that victory. In Galatians 2:20, Apostle Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ…” Colossians 2:12 states that you were buried with Christ and you were also risen with him. The summary of it is that Christ became one with us in sin, so that we might become one with Him in righteousness; He became one with us in death and we became one with Him in victory. That’s why the bible says in 1 John 4:17, “…as he is, so are we in this world.” So Jesus’ victory is our victory!

Jesus triumphed over enemy; He conquered the cohorts of hell; He stripped the enemy off the authority and dominion he took from Adam at the fall of man. In all of these victories, you were in him; you were identified with him. It was actually your victory, but Jesus was the one doing the fighting for you. This has made the enemy a defeated foe, conquered and enslaved. You are His master today and forever as Jesus is, as long as you remain in Christ Jesus. This makes you more than a conqueror. You can now boldly say that victory is yours through Christ Jesus. The enemy is under your feet and so are sickness, poverty, and all other works of darkness. Praise God!

I thanked God who made it possible for me to put to bed without operation. There were challenges when my due date came but I held onto the God of Pastor Larry Mishael. God put enemies to shame who thought I would die through childbirth. I put to bed safely and soundly. Praise God.
