“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse being made a curse for us; for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14
Beloved, you have been redeemed and blessed. Yes, you have been given the power to prosper. At redemption you entered into a covenant with the Father. This covenant is full of better promises than the previous one Abraham had with God. In this New Covenant, it is God’s intent and purpose to bless you. The word “bless” means nothing missing, nothing lacking, nothing broken. You see, Jesus took our sins and gave us righteousness; He took our spiritual bankruptcy and exchanged it for His life and nature. He took the curse so that we might be blessed with faithful Abraham through Jesus Christ. “To bless” explained best means ‘to empower one to prosper’. So you have been empowered to prosper, to have nothing lacking, missing or broken from your life. In contrast, to be cursed means to be empower to fail, but it is not our portion. We have been empowered to prosper; the blessings of Abraham are ours in Christ.
God wants you blessed all round. To be spiritually blessed means to be born again. To be blessed physically means to be empowered to prosper in your physical body, to be healthy, sound, vibrant and able to accomplish the will of God for your life. To be blessed mentally means to be empowered to prosper in your mind. It includes freedom from mental sickness, having your mind renewed by the word of God, and being full of workable ideas. To be blessed financially means not lacking anything. Galatians 3:2a says, “if you are in Christ, you are Abraham’s seed and an heir according to the promise Made to Abraham.” Beloved, blessings are yours. You have been redeemed and empowered to prosper in every area of your life. Begin to prosper today. Hallelujah!
Luke 13: 10-16, Galatians 3:6-14
I always listen to Pastor Larry on radio and I join him in his prayers. I prayed hard because things were really difficult for me and my family. My children were not doing well. I was so broke that I couldn’t afford money to eat and solve small problems. God answered my prayer and opened doors for my children. My son called me one day and said he bought a car for me. I thought it was a joke until I saw the car, provisions and cloths he got for me. That my son is also planning to get married, with all the money he needs for the marriage rites already available. It is amazing. I return the glory to God.
