Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14
When God made man, God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1:26-27). His intention was that man would rule the earth the same way God rules the heavenlies. Man was made to be an extension of Divine rule in this new domain called ‘earth’. God went ahead to bless them and empower them to fulfill this mandate, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Vs 28). All things were subject to man to the extent that whatever Adam called any animal was the name it bore. The fellowship which man had with God was wonderful. God came to discuss with man in the cool of the day in the Garden of Eden.
When man fell, everything was lost. Man became a slave to the enemy; man became subject to the elements of nature he was meant to control; man began laboring under different curses. This resulted in loss of God’s presence, loss of eternal life, loss of dominion, loss of health, loss of divine provision, and so on. However, the good news is that when Jesus came, He paid the price and restored man back to that state man was in before the fall. We can now be called children of God, we have His presence, we have eternal life, we have access to divine supplies, we have dominion over elements and nature, and so on. This restoration is not gotten by works but by faith in the finished work of Jesus on Calvary. Beloved, are you saved? If you are, then you are restored to dominion and fruitfulness.
Genesis 1:26-30, Galatians 3:1-29
Family turnaround and miracle jobs
I thank God for turning things around in my family. Things were so hard for my elder brothers that I was the one feeding them and giving them little money for upkeep and things. It was a discomforting situation. So I got the blood of Jesus and started praying for them, sprinkling it on their pictures. To the glory of God, in less than a month, both of them got jobs and are comfortable now. Praise God.
