“Therefore with Joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation” Isaiah 12:3
Beloved this is our month of Overwhelming Joy and this will be our focus today. Joy is a state of cheerfulness, gladness, mirth or rejoicing. Joy is of the Lord and is one of the weapons He has given to His children. It is a weapon that keeps the enemy at bay. This is why the devil tries to take away our joy from us and give us a spirit of heaviness so that the absence of joy will give him room to attack. There is no hope in heaviness; there is only darkness, despair, depression and sorrow, which are all instruments that the enemy uses to buffet God’s children.
Our memory verse talks about using joy as an instrument to draw water out of the wells of salvation. A well is a fountain or a source of satisfaction. Salvation according to that verse also means victory, prosperity, deliverance, health, and welfare. So you see all that having joy in your heart can give to you. It is with joy that you can draw from the divine salvation package. It is joy that will grant you access to victory, prosperity, deliverance, health, welfare of all sorts. Halleluiah! Even the bible says that a cheerful heart is good medicine. Joy gives you life, healing, and prosperity.
You need to have Joy flowing like a river in your soul at all times. The devil will want you to be down in the dumps all the time, worrying and fretting, so that he can feed you his suicidal thoughts, his destructive thoughts of failure, so you will not live a victorious life. That is not what God wants for you. He wants you to be joyful irrespective of your lack of money, food, good health, and so on, so He can feed you with the provision of salvation through Christ Jesus. Happiness is not the same as joy. Joy emanates from your spirit. It is the Holy Ghost who gives joy, when your knowledge has been mingled with faith in God. Apostle Paul said, “rejoice, again I say rejoice”. Take up the weapon of joy today and fight every spirit of despair and depression, so you can enjoy your life.

Healed of chest pain and arthritis
During a Sunday service in church, daddy gave a word about people suffering from chest pain and arthritis. I came out and he prayed for me. I felt a sensation in my chest like cold water, and that was the end of the chest pain from that day. I also tested my legs and noticed the arthritis pains had gone also. I can now kneel without pains. Praise God!
