“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

The sons of Issachar were special people who had prophetic insight. The bible said concerning them that they had understanding of the times and seasons (1 Chronicles 12:32). It is very important in our daily Christian walk to have understanding of the times and seasons of God. God’s time & heavenly calendar is different from ours. This is why we should never walk according to our own understanding but we should be in tune with what our Father in heaven is doing. For example, don’t cry and ask God to give you a car when according to His time, you should be in your “trekking” season. God doesn’t want you to remain “trekking” forever but he appreciates the levels that you need to cross to receive His blessings for you. You may not even have the means to maintain the car if He were to give it to you when you ask Him for it. God allows you to grow into your blessings so that when the blessing comes, it will add no sorrow.

Abraham and Sarah had to wait 25 years before receiving their Isaac not because God needed that long to process or cook their miracles, but rather it was the time it took for them to strengthen and grow their faith and hope in the Lord. Within that time frame, Abraham decided to help God. He thought perhaps God needed some help since Sarah’s barrenness was an issue and so he slept with Hagar, Sarah’s maid and brought forth Ishmael. Then he told God, “see the son you promised me”. But God said, “nope, he is not the promised one, you will get there, grow some more, your hands will soon be able to stretch and collect the promise” (Paraphrased). So Abraham strengthened his faith and hoped against all hope and when he and Sarah had fully gotten ready to receive, Isaac came. Infact, to buttress the importance of times, when their time had come, the Angel said to them in Genesis 18:14, “Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

God is not the one delaying your blessings. It is your ability to understand times and grow your faith that determines it. It took Abraham 25 years, but it can take you a year or more or less. It all depends on your ability to pass through the process of life and understand at which stage or time God is in your life and grow in faith and spiritual virtues.
Genesis 18:1-14, Genesis 21:1-5

Growth disappears
One day, I discovered a growth in my private part. It was painful and discomforting. I took different medications and applied on the growth but it remained. It was there for about 3 weeks. Then I got the oil of gladness and began using it. Since then the growth gradually disappeared and is no more there again. I can’t explain how it happened but I return all the glory to God.
