“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, when she heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. Straight way the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:25-29.

Beloved, expectation is the mother of miracles. What you don’t expect, you can’t attract. Before you get the healing you need, you must expect it; before the promises of God are fulfilled in your life, you must expect it also. Your expectation is your hope that is being experimented. Remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). For you to have faith you must have a hope; an expectation. Proverbs 23:18 says, “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” It is proper for you to have godly expectation because they will not be cut off as God has promised. Your expectations are like released missiles which must certainly reach their target and explode no matter how long it takes, even though most of them are time-released; they are set to explode at specific times.

 The woman with the issue of blood had an expectation, and it was her hope that became a physical substance of healing and wholeness in her body. Understand that she expected to be healed as a result of existing knowledge that she had about the person of Jesus. She told herself that because of what she has heard about Jesus, just one touch of his garment would give her the healing she expected. Beloved, what have you heard about Jesus? You need to turn on your expectation. From the testimony line on Sunday, you hear people testify of healings, breakthroughs, deliverance, marital and business breakthroughs, and so on. Do you tell yourself that it’s not real, or do you allow it to stir up faith and expectation in you? When you go to church on Sundays or weekdays, turn them into expectations to receive your desire. Be like the woman with the issue of blood. Expect to be healed. Expect that today is your day for a miracle and before you know it, you will see it manifest.

Proverbs 24:14, 67:5

Father I declare today as my day for a turn around. It is my day to receive my expectations, in Jesus name.

Your expectations shall not be cut off but you shall receive them in full, in Jesus name.

<Healed of poison>
I had a misunderstanding with my colleague at work that made her resign, but before she left, she gave me poison. Since then, I have been suffering from different sicknesses until I came back to the village. My dad told me of a man of God in Owerri (Pastor Larry) and we came to church and received the prayers with faith. We went home with the oil of gladness and I sprinkled it in my mouth. Since then, the sickness disappeared. Praise God!
