“And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” Matthew 13:58

 Without faith, we cannot please God; and when God is not pleased, we get nothing from Him. The bible says that the just shall live by faith and anything lesser than that will incur the displeasure of God. You need faith to receive anything from God. Our whole salvation experience is based on faith. “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God”. (Romans 5:2). You see? Before you got saved, you believed (faith), then you confessed Jesus as your Lord and savior (faith), and you then believed that your action made you born again (faith). It’s all about faith with the things of God. Nothing moves God like faith. When you come for a breakthrough or a miracle, God looks for your faith. Your faith enables Him to move into action, not your tears, not even your seeds sown in doubt, but your faith in Him and His willingness to bless you.

In the book of Mathew, Jesus’ disciples couldn’t heal the boy possessed by the lunatic demon. When they asked Jesus why they couldn’t cure him, Jesus made it clear that faith was lacking in their hearts and actions, in addition to the fact that the case also needed fasting and praying. He made reference to their unbelief saying, “And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief; for verily ii say unto you, if ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Mathew 17:26)

 So you have the seed of faith in you as long as you are saved! You can break the yoke of impossibilities by having the God-kind of faith. Don’t be religious; don’t do things just because you are told to do so. Put your faith to work and let it be unflinching even when faced with challenges. Remember even when Jesus spoke to the fig tree, it didn’t wither immediately. He didn’t doubt but went on knowing in his heart that it had already withered. Your miracle will not come to you by accident. You receive it by faith, a deliberate act on your part.

Mathew 17:14-21, Hebrews 11:1-40

Help me Holy Spirit to have unwavering faith in your power even in times of opposition, in Jesus name. Amen.

You are breaking forth and breaking through in this season of miracles, in Jesus name. Amen

<Leg healed>
I had this pain in my leg that made it difficult for me to climb a staircase for over six months. I heard daddy Larry over the radio and came to church. That day, he prayed for me and anointed my leg. I got home and noticed relief on the leg. From that day, I have been climbing the staircase in my house and walking long distances without difficulty. Praise God!
