And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” (Matthew 28:18-19)

The phrase, ‘teach all nations’ in some other translations read, ‘make disciples of nations’. Nations here mean a group of people sharing aspects of language, culture and/or ethnicity. By extension, a Nation also means a group of people with similar interests and ideologies. That means that a country such as Nigeria is made up several Nations (in the true sense of the word). That means that your family is a nation, your career field is a nation, your school environment is a nation. Therefore when I speak to you about making disciples of nations, don’t think about a whole country; think about the people in your sphere of influence. Your colleagues at work fall into this category; reach out to them with what you believe. Start from where you are and spread to the larger circle until everybody you know has heard the gospel from you; in words and in deeds.

What are you required to do as you make disciples? “baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: ” (Matthew 28:19b). This means preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus to them and making sure they get saved (use the procedures explained in our house fellowship study for the month). When saved, don’t stop there. “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you….” (Vs 20a). Follow them up, genuinely care about their welfare, when they are sad, try to find out what ails them, when they are in trouble, go out of your way to help them; and don’t fail to correct them with love when they eir. It might look like a difficult task but be rest assured that you are not aone in it. “…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Vs 20b).

The number of your disciples and their commitment to the Kingdom determines the size of your reward. “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3)

Acts 8:26-38

Lord I receive grace to be a preacher of the gospel in word and in deeds. Let it always flow out of me in Jesus name!

As you commit to soul winning, nothing shall be difficult for you this month in Jesus name.

<Supernatural intervention>
“Bushbaby” always visited my residence at night. I prayed as I knew how but it continued. I was in service one day and got the communion blood. That night it came again and I went out and sprinkled the blood. That was the end of the visitation. We have not seen it again. Again, one night, my wife started having severe pains to the extent that she was crying. I rubbed the oil and blood on her. Instantly, she felt relief and slept off. Praise God!
