On MONDAY, we learnt about battle wounds from a good fight. If you want to be a Christian or even remotely God-conscious, this life will fight you for it. The world tries to take away your joy and your peace with unwanted circumstance, unexpected tragedy, and unforeseen pitfall. So what do you do? You fight back by remembering God’s promise that no weapon formed against you will succeed at taking you down. You hide His words in your heart and wear them out on your sleeve. Also stand up against the lies that seek to sink your ship in prayer.
On TUESDAY, we were told that God is our banner. God’s presence and power takes men into battles and assures them of victory when the battle is done. What battles are you fighting today? Is the battle you are facing one that the Lord has chosen for you? Are you outside the will of God? Are you fighting in your own strength? Are you struggling to be victorious in the battle? If Jehovah Nissi is leading the way in your struggle, then you are assured success, but if you are fighting your battle in your own strength, your defeat is imminent. Be in the will of God.
On WEDNESDAY, we were told to take possession. The first thing you must take possession of is your thoughts. You must understand who you were created to be as a child of God, and the authority you have in Christ. The battle is always won in the mind; that’s the battle field. Controlling your mind requires meditating daily on the truths of God’s word, studying it and making it so conversant with you that it seems to form flesh in you, transforming and renewing you. Don’t be conformed to your environment but be transformed by renewing your thinking patterns through the Word of God.
On THURSDAY, we learnt that the word of a king carries power. A king does not beg or cry to anyone for anything. He is the king, he is feared and obeyed. He does not condescend to anyone. He only has to make decrees and it will be put into law. He declares a thing and it becomes law. He institutes, he confirms, he allows, he authorizes. Beloved, you are a king. That situation may not leave your life until you take your place on your throne and start exercising your authority with the Word of God.
On FRIDAY, we were told to speak forth our blessings. Whatever you say is automatically put in place in the spirit realm. The spirit controls this physical realm and your spoken words grants you assess into it. Your daily words and decrees have the power to alter your destiny and change the course of your life. Beloved, each time you speak a word, you receive the harvest for it in due time for death and life are in the power of your tongue and you shall eat its fruit. Choose to steer your life into blessings by speaking words of faith, power and victory. God bless you!
On SATURDAY, we commemorated Nigeria’s independence and were reminded that Nigeria is the Lord’s. God is interested in Nigeria even though we are far from the Nigeria of our dreams. It is so because children of God have refused to do something. You are the extension of God’s authority. He is looking up to you as His child to pray for the leaders and people of Nigeria and also accompany it with action. God bless you! God bless Nigeria
